@ AjiTeh Bugis Junction; Uzumaki Ice Cream

Click to enlarge imageAji teh at bugis... the sub-branch of Ajisen I think... and Jocie Guo Mei Mei is the spokesperson of the restaurant....

Thumbs up for the spicy cold ramen cos its rather appetitizing, spicy and sour. Plus one v good simple ingredient that goes well with cold ramen... that's thinly sliced cucumber... gives the extra 口感... quite good.
Pork kimuchi is ok. What is really good is the pork... very big slices (which means only a few slices for that size la) and its v v tender~~ :)Tonpeiyaki is qte a common dish I believe ... the usual sauce...Yaki Soba is what they call the fried noodle... din impress not disappoint me. 'ok-only' dish, I would rate.
The Anmitsu dessert's quite a disappointment ... I won't say its 'woah!' ... what makes me 'woah!' is the alot of red bean/red bean paste desserts [me a BIG fan of red bean] in the menu. hahathe mucha has a very very mild flavour. I dunno if its supposed to be mild but compared to the Uzumaki Japanese Green Tea ice cream [see below], this is a disappointment. I also feel that ajiteh icecream is quite normal tho the texture is rather smooth.

饭后后续:I think every S$50 u spend, u'r entitled to a lucky dip and I STRONGLY believed that all the gifts are Jocie-related items.... for.... I got a Jocie autographed big big poster, which puts me in the 'ehm....' state of mind.
And yes... 2 female diners and they spent over $50. V v stuffed! The desserts shouldn't come in but what to do... they've gt a sweet tooth.

This is what I had when I went Bugis Junction on another day. At the basement where the foodcourt and coldstorage are located, they have this pushcart stall which is just outside coldstorage. It costs $4 each [u can have it in a normal cone, waffle cone or in a cup] and outta the listed flavours, I chose Green Tea, since it claimed to be the best~ Ok, Up to date, I second it... as u can see, the texture's rather rough but the taste is so richhhh.... This is definitely a no-no for those who dun like green tea.
