Food from HK

Blogging's tad time-wasting, isn't it?Anyway, some updates. Was in HK recently, so...
Somebody recommended the following items from a particular eatery... Indeed, nice try. 出前一丁's [CQYD] branded in HK... they'll charge u extra if u gonna change your noodle to 出前一丁's. Anyway, I like this fragrantly fried CQYD... minus the oily-ness... but well, dishes in HK are generally oily. Same goes to the 公仔面 [I mean its soup]. 公仔面 has got alot of ingredients inside... from mushrooms to ehm pig's blood lol. Recommended la, but very big bowl, 2-3 ladies can share a bowl k. Oh this Pan Fried Chang Fen [PFCF] best.... A must try sia. Normally we eat the steamed one but this was sthg different. Gave a sense of crisp on the outside and a little chewy on the whole. Complements very well with the sesame sauce tts spreaded on top.
This is their signboard la, I ate it in Mongkok. They got a few branches but I'm lazy to describe where exactly. If u really wanna find out then ask me agn. Their must-try beverage: Pomelo Honey Drink... very very nice. Just the right sweetness and is thirst-quenching. Total cost abt S$12 each for 3 persons.... abt there la, dun qte rem.In HK, the better known dessert stall should be 许留山 liao... Its like BreadTalk in SG lo... u can see it almost everywhere... 许留山 in SG is disappointing as compared to those in HK... anyway ... has the SG 许留山 closed or shifted?? NVM main thing is ... I wanna recommend 石磨坊。I ate the 杨枝柑露 [which is Mango Pomelo] at both 许留山 and 石磨坊, and the latter won me over with the much gao2-er base lol. Pardon my description, its late... spare my brain... oh then the 杏仁糊 from 海天堂... costs abt S$2 and its very thick and aromatic. I like. Not for non-almond lovers ah... U can find it in causeway bay[CWB]. Ehm somewhere near the CWB train station and/or Times Square....
Eggtart... Each costs S$0.60 only. Very nice, from 蛋塔工房. Its in MongKok, somewhere under a bridge.... Along 花园街 if I'm not wrong.... Good texture. Has two distinguishable layers... a treat to ya tastebuds... the top layer's slightly ehm molten lol and the 2nd layer's soft and smooth... very nice Oh, its a tiny shop k. From Lantau Island... the vegetarian food. All say very nice so must try la. Ok, really not bad and 4 dishes plus a soup for S$12. If u want even better + more food and bigger dining area, pay S$20. But the S$12 fare good enough for a veg meal. Decent and satisfying. The fried tulip row was nice and its less oily then all other dishes I've tried in HK... Mushrooms ... tasty :P
Tts all for now. I've more to say abt their roast meat but tired already....Till then.
